So this can be long and winding and it was for me..the second time around..but here's the lowdown..
Basically you have to download CCleaner - https://www.ccleaner.com/ Make sure you don't delete your files it won't do that as long as when you go to Registry and do a scan you will be given a popup that you should back up your files, hit yes... scan the files you will see all the missing .dll unregistered files there... so you click then fix files.... this will fix all of those files so they are now registered.dll
the second part is this https://thegeekpage.com/fix-vcruntime140-dll-is-missing-from-your-computer-error-in-windows-10/ or
https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-vcruntime140-dll-is-missing-error-on-windows/
windows search command prompt and right click use as Administrator and it will open.
If you're running Windows 10 you will have to do DISM.exe process first then do the sfc /scannow
You must do this and I can't find that damn page to help you but this is all that you have to do... download Visual studio 2019 from the official microsoft visual site. Then in comp go to programs or add or uninstall and go to it and click modify or change then click yes then click repair... now that that's done. you will need to do this as a surefire method... this all seems very long but let me conclude... FOLLOW THESE VIDEOS INSTRUCTIONS!!! -----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5pjAWai384 & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPuvOpaCmyY
do the steps exactly it seems weird but these are to ensure both of these missing files are correctly placed and functioning.
then after you have done this do the CCleaner the only thing you have left is Command Prompt and because I can't seem to find the page I'm going to write it out right here.
windows 10 users begin with the following Command Prompt as Administrator: Since I already used CCleaner to fix the Unregistered files all I had to do next is the following. in command prompt > enter > VCRUNTIME140.dll it will state that your files are registered but the source or something is not registered missing something.... then you will do DISM.exe
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\ <(Enter where you put those .dll's in the windows file put /Source:c:\Windows
that will restore the files that I showed you are the youtube files. then... you use sfc /scannow afterwards... these files will be loaded then you can check back CCleaner if you like to fix any additional errors..
I didn't have to restart or boot or anything... right away I could download Origin from the site and install.
