New EA announcements in 2018?

The end of the year approaches and all eyes begin to set on what the new year will bring.
Which games would you like (or love 🙂) to be announced in 2018?

Community AdminI'm looking forward to more details on projects previously announced or hinted at.
To start with, A Way Out looks super-interesting and I can't wait to hear more about it.
The famous Amy Hennig Star Wars project has been worked on for some time now so it'll be fun to get some more details on it.
Well, A Way Out looked, indeed, interesting. Anthem is on my to check list, too. But those two are the games are the ones we have some tidbits about.
Amy Hennig's Star Wars - well, here we are in unknown territory. We don't know the genre, how it will play, look, etc. So, yeah, some details would be welcomed. Did i mentioned that i still dream about a proper KOTOR 3?!
Hoping for a new Dragon Age game (preferably the fourth in the series). And maybe an positive announcement about Mass Effect - hey, i can dream, right?! right?!!
Thus being said, right now i am enjoying Battlefield 1 (very unexpected, as i don't play online, usually), tried FIFA18 (have to grab a gamepad though, as the keyboard/mouse combo doesn't work too well for me) and looking forward to SW:Battlefront 2 and NFS: Payback. The first it will be probably a grab on Christmas (my own gift for me🙂). The second, well, when the stars will allign😉
And yes, it would be interesting to see some new announcements. Something that we don't know that even exists. Something new and exciting😇

Unfortunately it looks like it's getting pushed back a bit, and there are going to be some studio changes.
There have been quite a few shakeups this year at EA, with the merger of BioWare Montreal and Motive, and the closing of Visceral, so I think 2018 will be quiet in terms of announcements.
It's no big secret that BioWare is working on Dragon Age 4. I'm hoping for an official announcement, but I think they're first waiting for Anthem to come out and gain a little momentum, so I think an announcement in 2019 with a planned release date of March 2020 is more likely.
I think we'll eventually get a new Mass Effect game, but I also think BioWare Edmonton will want to do more original projects than just Dragon Age and Mass Effect. If a new Mass Effect is coming, the original team may do that after wrapping up Anthem, but I'm not too sure about that. It would be a twist if Motive developed Mass Effect 5.
@DarkBanishing I think the closing of Visceral means bad news for a potential Dead Space 4.
I know, I got the news a couple of hours after I posted this thread. Well, I'm very disappointed in the decision EA made by shutting Visceral down. 😞
But as long as there are Dead Space fans, there's still hope left. 🤞
And I must concur on your remark of a new Dragon Age game. That indeed would be awesome! 🙂
