I just bought HSY on origin for my macbook pro. Payment went through fine but when I went to download it i'm getting a popup that says- 'We're sorry, Origin tried more than once to download your game but was unable to. Please re-launch Origin and try again.' I've restarted my laptop, reinstalled origin, installed and run the origin reset tool and logged out and back in but no change. When I resetted it origin reinstalled all the expansions and the game but now won't reinstall cottage living too. Please help!!
I recently reset my Mac and have re-downloaded origin however, when downloading TS4, it won't download my Cottage Life and HSY expansions. It comes up with the error 'We're sorry, Origin tried more than once to download your game but was unable to. Please re-launch Origin and try again.' which I have done repeatedly, with no joy. I have also deleted and reinstalled Origin (several times) and it hasn't worked either. Any help please!
I have just spoken to someone on live chat, no answer from them on what to do either but I can see lots of people are having the same issue now. Hopefully there will be a resolution soon,

Hello all,
I recently bought "High School Years" from instant gaming. The code worked fine, but as soon as it went to download in origin, it instantly said "download error." I have tried everything under the moon to fix this. I'm not super tech savvy but I uninstalled the game-Sims 4, I uninstalled origin, I repaired origin, I tried deleting my cache in different spots. I contacted instant gaming, they say its EA's problem. I've reached out to EA and they keep sending me to EA community pages but I don't see anything about this. I will take the loss of money and just buy it through EA but I can't even do that because origin thinks I own it already. Please, any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thats exactly my problem, I bought Cottage living yesterday and I cant download it. I tried uninstalling the origin, repairing the game, verify all the game files. Nothing works, I am desperate.
Currently having the exact same problem, I have tried every solution online, deleting and re downloading origin, repairing the game, changing settings but nothing will get those two packs to download. Maybe it’s something on origins side? Iv emailed the help but no response yet!
