@ambrown93 Please delete the OriginThinSetup you've downloaded, then uninstall Origin and clean out any residual files left over:

Download a fresh copy of Origin and try to run it. If it doesn't work, let me know whether you get the same error, as well as what version of macOS you're running.
So when i open up my origin it won't update. It says that the installationprogram ran into an error and that the error code is 20:4
does anybody besides me have the same problem and if u do what should i do to fix it?
@Sleepy2Bunny Does your computer run Windows or macOS, and which version?
same for me, same error message. I'm a macOS user, with a needed 11.1 update.
- @puzzlezaddict If we uninstall origin this way, does this delete all sims files?
@ashtynmk Sorry, I missed your tag until now. Uninstalling and reinstalling Origin doesn't touch either the Sims 4 application or the user files (saves, mods, other in-game creations). If you uninstalled the game, you'd want to back up your user files first, as a precaution; they're in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. But uninstalling Origin won't have any effect.
I'm having this problem too, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a new version of origin and its still not working,
Fecha tengo ese problema y tampoco he tenido solución para poder jugar, alguien sabes?
y nos podría ayudar por favor.
