Origin cloudsaves don't work after system format (Witcher 3)

Hello, I've just formatted HDD in my notebook and am currently installing some of my games back, Witcher 3 included. I've played the game for some 1200 hours and kept saving everything using Origin cloudsaves. I didn't back them up, hoping I'd be able to simply sync them from the cloud once system format will be done. I installed W3 and started the app. It launched sync and after some 15 minutes a communicate read "Error syncing Cloud Storage data", "your latest cloud storage data may not be available". I can play anyway or cancel the application. When I enter the game no gamesaves are found and I can only start a new game.

The Witcher 3 folder in My documents contains gamesaves folder, which contains 1026 .tmp files, each named "cloudsaves***476.tmp", various numbers and letters occuring for the *** (e.g. cloudsavesnk6476.tmp). During syncing the files were growing in size and varied in size from 0 kB to 3,5 MB, whilst after the abovementioned error each file is 0 kB in size.

In Origin library in W3 properties, tab Cloud saves, I can see that 895 MB of 1 GB storage is used for storing W3 gamesaves. As I said, I have no other copy of my saves. Has anyone run into such a problem? Are my gamesaves recoverable?
