Origin friends appear offline and I appear offline to them

Hi Recently I installed Battlefield 1 and tried to play it. After logging into the game I got information that I can't connect to EA servers. My internet connection is fine, I can download games but...

My friends list shows all my friends offline. I am NOT INVISIBLE. My friends report that I appear offline to them as well.

I have talked to support twice, I have reinstalled it. I have checked my firewall and my ports. Still nothing.

    Hey @TF0418 sorry to hear that you are having issues.

    Would it be possible to use your phone as a hotspot and connect through it as a number of users having issues with the friends list have found that it is due to a router/ISP issue.

      I'm having the same problem. I started up my game via steam and it not connecting to the origin server please help
