@amygrace5 Hi,
I cannot see your video unfortunately, if you did put it on Youtube, can you post the URL to it here?
Generally though, I would suggest to download the Origin installation file from here once more: https://www.origin.com/download
Next, please navigate to your download folder and right click the "OriginThinSetup.exe" file and choose "Run As Administrator".
If that still does not work, and the installation fails, please follow the below steps in exact order:
- Manually uninstall Origin.
- Run CCleaner.
- Restart your router/modem and do a Clean Boot.
- Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify.
- Download the latest version of Origin and install the client - make sure to run the setup file with administrator rights.
- Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports.
- When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Administrator.
Let us know how you get on afterwards.
Cheers,
Nils

Hi Origins. I cannot load my game and I got it a week ago. I downloaded it from the right site and everything. It also says offline mode in the corner but apart from that it is a white screen with black around it. very unhappy.

@EA_Nils I have been with origin for 5 years and and over the past 2 year origin randomly stops working. I am so sick of doing this with you guys. It is absolutely riduclous that i cant play my favorite games because origin decides not to work from time to time. It is so unreliable and it is making my very unhappy with both EA and Origin. We shouldnt have to get on the computer and wonder if we are gonna be able to play our games today. I paid good money for my games in the past and right now I primarily play sims 3 but this should not be happening. I do not have this problem with Steam or any other gaming site. The EA team and Origin need to look into this.

Try to clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)- Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close) - Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.) - Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder.
- Restart your PC. > test

I'm not able to get the Origin client to load properly on my machine
From what I can tell there are three executables that are suppose to launch when you run Origin, at least when I am able to get it to launch properly, those are
'Origin.exe'
'OriginWebHelperService.exe'
'OriginThinSetupInternal.exe'
whenever I experience this issue only 'Origin.exe' and MAYBE 'OriginWebHelperService.exe' will launch, however the Origin client doesn't open properly and sits in the background.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing visual studio c++, clearing the origin cache, re-installing the origin client, running it as an adminitrator, running it in windows 8 compatibility mode all while having my antivirus disabled and while I did manage to get it to work for a short time (I believe by faffing about with visual studio) a day or two later it fails again
I've had this issue since running windows 10, it is such a problem I will avoid EA titles, I figured I'd try a subscription to 'Origin Access' only to spend almost 5 hours faffing around with the client for it to eventually work just long enough to play some NFS Heat only to fail again as of this morning
My time is valuable, I don't have time to fiddle about for hours with a temperamental client and as of today I have cancelled my access subscription (for which the process appears to be buggy) and uninstalled both the client and game
- Close Origin completely.

@EA_NilsThe app installed on my PC won't even let me log in, I just get an error stating I must log in online for my first time, though I've logged in before without problems.
EDIT: I completely closed out of the program and let Steam open it for my game. THEN the download popped up, after the download everything's been fine.

2nd UPDATE:
After attempting to download Battlefield 1, Battlefield V and StarWars Battlefront II via the Origin Launcher and while using previously copied C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games folders of the same names; when I went to use Locate Folder and Verify File, both Battlefield V and StarWars Battlefront II exhibited no issues and went right into downloading from a 50% more or less position rather than from 0%.....
However when attempting the same with Battlefield 1, the Origin Launcher would immediately crash, so I hit retry and it crashed again, so after experimenting with it for a while I then initiated the Origin Launcher and when it started and displayed the My Game Library I immediately right clicked on Battlefield 1 and selected Download instead and it started to download, you may have to try it more than once to get it to work....regards.

What exactly did you tried?
Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
