Origin online login is currently unavailable after Origin update

After an Origin update I keep getting Online login is currently unavailable. I've already tried re-installing origin as well as clearing the cache. I'm able to log in to origin through the web page s...

    I fixed this by adjusting my date and time, my PC clock was off by 5 minutes. windows 10

    CM EDIT:You can also take the following steps.

    - Completely close Origin, go to Control panel and under date and time, turn ON the synchronize it with the internet feature.


    - For Windows 10, right-click the date/time on Taskbar, click adjust date/time and set 'Set time zone automatically' to ON''

    CE EDIT 3: We are seeing reports that removing non essential USB storage devices is an effective workaround at the moment.

        ok i got it fixed now for some odd reason, i use a geforce GTX 1070 ti and downloaded the latest drivers today, since then origin started having issues, i've redownloaded and reinstalled that same driver now and suddenly origin works again, weird
