Origin Program Files
Would anyone be willing to upload all files of the Origin program? I have Windows 10 and no matter what i have tried, i click the OriginThinSetup icon and NOTHING happens. I bought Battlefield V and ...
As i have stated above that none of the troubleshooting helped. I can't uninstall a program that isn't even installed yet. I click the installer icon and nothing happens, i know this is a windows 10 bug with origin. I have searched and search for a solution but none of the solutions worked for me. I have done the following: Tried running as administrator, ran the compatibility troubleshooter and no other compatibility settings have worked. I have even went as far as to disable all services and startup items in task manager. Restarted my computer to see if a program or service was interacting with Origin to prevent it from running. That also did not work. I have also even safe booted to see if the installer would at least open, but did not work. I get that this is a windows 10 bug that A LOT of people are having. What i am looking for though is if anyone could upload their Origin program folder that the Origin files are in, since i can't get the installer to run, i just need the files. Is there any way you can help me with that, that way i can see if i have all the Origin's installation files, maybe i can get it to run. If you do not know what i mean, i mean all the files that the Origin installer produces when it installs in Program Files X86. I am just looking for someone who can upload the files somewhere so i can get them and manually put them into MY Program Files X86. Maybe then i can at least find a way to get Origin to at least run so i did not waste my money.
I know that this might be an annoying question.
But as someone who works in IT. I've found that when installers doesn't want to run. It's in 9/10 cases computer uptime that causes it.
So please don't hate me for suggesting that you restart your computer to see if it works.
And do it the real way. Win+X (Shutdown or Log off) (Restart)
Just restarted it twice (the "real" way) no hard restart. I tried to open the Origin installer, once normally and once with "Run as Admin". I click to open the installer and still nothing happens except the blue loading circle by the pointer like something IS going to happen, but never does. I also open task manager and the installer IS listed in the tasks as "running" but the installer window isn't visually open. Glad to be on here with like-minded IT to try and help with this issue. Maybe there is a workaround out there but until then, i would still like to know if anyone knows where i can get the files that the Origin installer extracts when installing Origin? I just need the folder with Origin.exe and all the miscellaneous files it extracts.
