Hey @Shurosen have you tried right-clicking on the icon and then unpinning from the taskbar?

Hey @Shurosen were you able to get the issue sorted?
Darko I'm having the exact same problem. I tried unpinning the icon from the task bar as you suggested, but all that did was unpin the icon from the task bar. When I re-pinned the icon, it simply re-pinned as a blank text document icon. This is the only forum I found addressing this problem, so I'm curious if anyone here has other suggestions. If I have success, I'll make sure to let you know.

I have it pinned to my taskbar and it's showing up normally @Gateson64.
When you launch the app, where are you doing it from?
Darko It's actually Battlefield V that shows as a blank text document icon, not Origin. I'm so so sorry, no more curve balls, promise. The Origin icon works fine for me. I was actually hoping to get back to this forum and correct my error before you replied, but you're too quick! I'm running Windows 10 on a desk top. I launch the app and game by clicking their icons on the taskbar. Both are saved on local disk C. Not sure if any of that answers your question.
Shall I create a new forum since this is a slightly different issue than what's stated in the headline?
