Sorry if dont trust you but isnt that hard and if so give us the rundown and maybe we can help its just stupid that epic moved there infrastructure to accept lancache and EA basicly sad runing all lan medium party in the world... CALLING ALL LANPARTYS TO BLOCK EA SSL UNTIL RESOLVED! We have already implemented it...... we do not have the connection to sustain modern game downloads.

Hi Tom, I'm the net admin for FITES LAN.

It's disappointing to see that this issue hasn't been fixed yet. We here at FITES would never consider blocking your platform, however due to the use of HTTPS for downloads we cannot assure our attendees the same quality of service that they will experience by other platforms at our event. We are very limited in internet bandwidth and rely heavily on our caching system to provide quick access to games that an attendee already owns but had not downloaded or purchased during our event.  

For some groups this is their one time a year to meet up in person. It would be terrible if they couldn't all play their favorite game together because of a slow download.

this is a matter of huge importance! Please EA, use RFC1918 as Riot and others did. 

hello can we have an update on this please, it's taking too long! i have over 200 machines, it's a pain in the rear to update using the slow internet that we have available!! please just release a fix ASAP 

Tom... can we PLEASE get some actual status updates here? This is getting ridiculous. This issue has been solved by multiple platforms already... except Origin.

I am not EA but it did auto detect on my network. and did the popup asking.

had another origin client update and it started prompting to disable safe downloads, was able to verify metadata is caching on lancache!

What's the point of your request?

It would be nice if we could get the same functionality like it was in the origin client.

Now you will be redirected to the EA App when starting an old origin client.

So EA please implement the ability to use local LAN caches. It would help all lan party admins to save internet bandwidth.
