Origins wont download or run
Hi I just brought sims for my laptop and didn't know I had to run origins through my laptop it installs but don't run and gives me a error code can you help me please

Community ManagerHey @liampurser2020 can you try installing the most up to date version of VC++ to see if it helps.
You can find the latest version on the Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
You need to install both of the following:
- vcredist_x86_vs2015 (for 32bit Windows version)
- vcredist_x64_vs2015 (for 64bit Windows version)
If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).

I've done this already still didn't work for some reason sims won't even start installing do I need to access origins first to be able to install game?

Hey @liampurser2020 those errors are both related to VC++.

I've updated that now so what else as it's just saying the name is wrong now that's the new error @EA_Darko

Hey @liampurser2020 that Windows is unable to find Origin could point to a registry error. To try and solve this can you try the following:
- Manual Origin uninstall
- Clean your registry
- System file checker
- Make sure your system is completely up-to-date
