@EA_BarrySorry, I am confused right now. I did a clean reinstall of the drivers now. But the driver you've sent me to install are outdated, there are newer ones.
So I took the newer one's and installed them clean. But I've installed "Game Ready Drivers" and you've sent me Nvidia Studio Drivers... Is there anything different? Am I supposed to install older drivers (because like I said, there are newer one's)? I've never tested the Studio Drivers to be honest...

    @DE4DKEY

Newest is not always best, I advised the Studio Driver set as they appear to be the most stable, here is some text from the driver info:

"NVIDIA Studio Drivers provide artists, creators and 3D developers the best performance and reliability when working with creative applications. To achieve the highest level of reliability, Studio Drivers undergo extensive testing against multi-app creator workflows and multiple revisions of the top creative applications from Adobe to Autodesk and beyond."

When you run the installer, choose the Advanced install and then choose 'Clean Installation', this will remove previous driver components and again will help with game stability.

    Thanks.

@EA_BarryOkay, alright. But there is even a newer Studio Driver available. But I will try the one you suggested me. I will keep you updated.

@EA_Barry Btw. I can't install your recommended driver, because it is not compatible with my system. I need the DHC version of the driver. I can't find them online.

@EA_BarryOkay, I've tried a clean install of the newest Game Ready Driver, still crashed. And I've done a clean install with the latest Studio Driver. It still crashes with the DirectX Error after some minutes too.

  • barry, followed ur instructions & still have the same issue of no amd gpu found every time. updated bios, amd gpu, chipset,, removed dx12 from the NFS file, LET ME TELL U NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! Good error and bug correction should not be up to ur consumers it should be fixed by EA. Basiclly wasted my money buying a game that I cant play even with a fast ##$ desktop with all the bells, ur reply is un helpful. EVERY DRIVER IS UPDATED AND WAS PRIOR TO UR SUPER DUPER HELP,LOL.

SO WHAT NOW? WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FOR A NEW GPU DRIVER? ISSUE IS ON EA's side just silly, GAME WAS NOT 100% READY. MY rig runs every other game no problem. CAN I GET SOME Customer service for a $60 game that only lets me play the day side and crashes when I race at night! REALLY!

  • Madden 20 crashes every single time I play it, built a brand new high end i9 9900k 2080ti PC and every other game I play runs like a dream. Stupid DirectX error GPU physically removed. I've tried every fix I can find for this error (which seems to go back at least 5 years btw) and still nothing. EA disgusts me

guys, this solved all my issues link: and directions THAT WORK EA CS!!!

    https://respawnfirst.com/need-for-speed-heat-directx-error-fix/

    DirectX Error Fix
This is an error that Need For Speed players have been complaining about. In most cases, such an error occurs on a relatively older GPU.
But, in the game case of Need for Speed Heat, the DirectX error, followed by a crash is occurring for players with the latest GPUs and CPUs.

While developers are looking into the problem, here is a workaround that might help you. One reason why DirectX error occurs is that GPU isn’t capable of handling the game at max graphics setting.
You can avoid this error by locking the game at 30 FPS. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings. Select the game from the list and set vertical sync to “Adaptive half refresh-rate”.
Start the game and disable in-game v.sync and set the display mode at Fullscreen and the game will be locked at 30 FPS. This will reduce the load on both the GPU and the CPU resulting in much more stable performance.

once the game passes the bug or bad code u can go back to ultra settings! worked for me perfectly

    Chickenlicken

  • Barry Super dupper CS guy,

HERES A TRUE WORKING FIX "POSTED" and YES the game cant handle newer GPU'S!! That's why it will get passed the directx fatal flaw in a fixed 30FPS and 5 minutes later advanced in game play u can revert to Ultra and max FPS. GPUS that ran 30fps are 7 years old!!! With this being proven "its not THE CONSUMERS drivers that are causing the issues, its a bug or bad code in the game its self"

sounds like u guys cut and pasted some old code in regards to FPS min and max or VM,

    thats the facts jack!
