Re: Friends status incorrect (shown online/in-game when offline)
Having same problem for a while now.
It's kind a annoying and bothering, when you are going in computer to have some time with friends or alone, playing any EA games - Origin shows in Friend list some players as online, who actually are not (ingame). Try'd refresh Origin client - nothing happened, still same. Closing Origin client totally from background with task manager or Exit feature in client and opening it again helps refreshing friend list.
I saw some posts that offered to tie up client refresh with client friend list refresh or third option, make alone-stand refresh feature to friend list window. That might help out, if it doesn't refresh client server automatically.
