  • I have te same issue with Star Wars Battlefront II.

I owned the game prior to subscribing to EA play.

Now that I quit EA play it says my subscription is expired, but in the game library it shows that I own it.

Do I really need to uninstall everything, clear cache's and reinstall?

Isn't there a way EA can make this work without having it's customer's jump through insane hoops?

This didn't happen with Steam ever.

Hey @oskarikihl611 being frustrated is fine but I would ask that when posting on AHQ you please do so in a polite manner.

  • @EA_Darko I am having this same issue. I have EA Play through Steam. I downloaded various EA games on Steam but cannot launch any of them. When I try to launch, I get the message in the EA app "You don't have access." None of these games appear in my collection in the EA app. This issue happened shortly after I chose to not have my 12-month EA Play subscription renew when it will run out later this year, but I still have about 11 months left.

Hey @freshquire have you ensured that you are logged into the correct EA account?

It can happen that you end up logging into the wrong account and seeing this issue.

    Darko

  • @EA_Darko Nope, it's the right account - I only have one. In fact, I unlinked the accounts and linked them again by clicking play on the game in my Steam library. When they re-linked I got the same error message in my EA app that prevents the game from launching ("You don't have access"). Please advise.
