I play this with my sister and yet 3 days ago everything was fine. I didn’t change any settings. Now she plays on PS4 and I play on Xbox 1. We never had issues until I got on today with her and my voice wasn’t going through, and I couldn’t hear hers. Although I saw the icon and her name at the top of the screen that shows she’s speaking. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Do you have an issue with chat in any other games or is it just with NFS?

I can speak in a party chart but not in game. She can’t hear me and I can’t hear her. But the microphone symbol shows up clearly. 

Hey @channon1025 as I understand it chat is not available in-game across platforms. In order to use the chat and hear each other, you would need to be on the same platform.

So how was it working the first 2 days? She was playing on PS4 and I was on XBOX ONE. Although she could barely hear me, we were still able to communicate. Was there a update or change within the last week for the game? 

Why is this NFS cross platform if I can’t even hear people on other platforms?? I bought this game solely because I want play with friends on other platforms but they can’t even hear me... how do I get a refund?

my friend can hear me from pc and hes on ps4, but i cant hear him from the ps4 to pc, the game shows that hes talking but nothing go trough

My friend and I have the same problem (he plays on Xbox and me on PS4).

I can hear him but he can’t hear me.

Any help??

I can't hear my party and we are on the same platform.

I can’t hear my friend even if he is the party leader we played different games and I can hear him I’m on Ps and he is on xbox

Finally found the fix myself!!! This goes for NFS Heat and Unbound etc etc...

The problem is Playback is set to your headset AND your controller "pc users"... 

Go to your Start, type Sound Control Panel, you'll then see your headset with a green check mark set as default. Scroll down and you'll also see your headset earphone wireless controller is checked, uncheck this one. Fixed mine for good. 

I'm still having problems.  My friend has a Xbox and my other friend has a ps5 as do I an we caint here our Xbox friend
