Sims 4 Desktop Icon Deleted
Okay... strange thing but after the latest patch update my beautiful Sims 4 icon/ shortcut that was on my desktop suddenly turned into one of those paper icons then whenever I would click on it, it s...
If you can't find the .exe file, check that the Game library location hasn't changed:
1) Open Origin
2) click the Origin tab, go to Application settings
3) click Installs and saves
4) under On your computer, the location of the save folder is listed in Game library location
@JulieCharbonneau Yes, TS4_x64 is what you want; you don't see the .exe because your OS is set to hide extensions. The x64 means it's 64-bit. But you can separately check whether Origin is launching Sims 4 in 64-bit: Open your Origin library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties, then Advanced Launch Options, and you should see whether the game is set to run in 32- or 64-bit.
