Is your Steam account still linked with your EA account? If so, please unlink your Steam from this EA account and you should be able to claim The Sims 4 in Origin then.
I'm on the Mac Origin Client and when I go to my game library, the Sims 4 game appears faded to be slightly desaturated and light. When I open the details of the game, it shows no play button. I have tried rebooting my MacBook, quitting and restarting Origin, and signing in and out of my EA account. I will link an image of what the game details screen and Sims 4 icon look like. I also have not launched the game at all - it hasn't been working since I downloaded Origin. I have tried using the Origin reset tool and removing the Sims 4 game from my linked Steam account, but the Sims 4 Steam version appears in my library nonetheless. I tried right-clicking to uninstall, but the option didn't show up in the drop-down menu. I will link some images of what I see.
