Tropico

Hi all, I thought I'd try out my new Basic Access today, woohoo always like a freebie especially after very scary email which initially led me to think someone had fraudulently accessed my account. I downloaded Tropico 6, which after several attempts and much forum searching I realised my graphics may be the culprit. No worries, I then download Tropico 5, I get even less of a loading screen before it crashes. I ring EA, waiting time is hours, whilst waiting I look up EA Help only to find Tropico 3, no 5 in dropdown menu.I have tried both moving and renaming  Xaudio2_7.dll as suggested, to no avail https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Access/tropico-5-completely-unplayable/m-p/7976466#M9583. I'm really looking forward to playing, does anyone else have any tips?

Hey @zebrastripes1111 the reason why Tropico 6 does not work is due to your system specs being below the minimum required specs to run the game.

Based on your DxDiag the first thing to do is ensure that you have the most up to date drives for your GPU installed, it's no harm doing a clean install of them.

It's also no harm clean booting your system and trying the game again:https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
