Unable to sign in to my EA Account to link with Epic Games

Same..I wonder how common this issue is. Did EA have a data breach? Seems that numerous accounts had an EPIC games account attached to their EA account that was not theirs.

    Hey all, for issues such as this you will need to speak with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to advise you further. 

     

    You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

    To  speak with a chat adviser:

    Click on your product Origin

    Then select 'PC

    Manage my Account'

    Can't log in

    Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.

      Hi iv already spoken to a Chat advisor about this and they said they unlinked my accounts yet this issue still persists, they said its a known issue and are working to fix it, (My ticket was last friday when we spoke) and still nothings been done.

      @EA_Darko From my OP "In calling EA support, they confirmed that there is not an Epic Games account connected to my account. They had already previously unlinked the rogue Epic Games account. That said, they were also unable to do anything to allow my Epic Games account to be linked to my EA Account. My assumption is that my account has been flagged with having already been linked, as the warning states "An EA Account can only be linked to one Epic Games account in its lifetime." When I asked support if they could clear this flag, they said they were unable to. and would forward my case as "feedback" for the appropriate team to consider changing something on their end to allow for it in the future. I asked that the issue be escalated to a higher tier Tech Support rep, and they informed me that no such escalation process exists." I was directed me to check EA on their Twitter for updates on this issue as well as to contact a Community Manager on the EA forums with this issue, which is why I came here.

        When is this issue going to be fixed, I just want to play SWBF2, but your system just tells me my accounts linked with another account even though support unlinked it for me, this error is BS and if i was to hazzard a guess with how EA deals with stuff, it wont get fixed.

        Prove me wrong.

      We can't do that. We get redirected to unhelpful articles telling us to go to help.ea.com
      I can't contact anyone or access any chat. It's just articles.
