XBOX1 Unable to load saves due to missing Deep space pack Mass effect: Andromeda

    Hey, sorry to see that you are having issues @ConsciouSoul.

    In a situation such as this, the first thing to do is ensure that your console and game are fully up to date.

    If that makes no difference then clearing the cache and powercycling your console is next.


    You can do this easily enough by following the steps below:

    1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox until it turns off completely.
    2. Unplug the power cable from your console and then press and hold the power button on the Xbox a number of times to clear the cache.
    3. Plug your power cable back in and turn your Xbox back on.

    If you are still seeing the error message then you will need to speak with Microsoft support who will be bale to advise you further.

I am having the EXACT same problem, although in addition to the Deep Space Pack, my xbox is telling me that I am also missing the Delxue Edition Pack. I can’t Find anything on the xbox store that matches those exact add-on, and the Deluxe Upgrade  add-on, which included the Deep Space Explorer Armor, is already installed. So frustrating. I am only a couple of missions away from beating this game!

I had the same issue recently where I reinstalled Mass Effect: Andromeda (from disk in my case), pulled down the updates, and tried to load up an old save game from 4 years ago - only to receive the message that the saved games couldn't be loaded because associated DLC was missing (Deep Space Explorer pack).
The DLC is no longer showing as available in the Store.

Have seen *many* people commenting online of the same issue - with suggestions being to uninstall/reinstall ... clear the xbox cache, etc. None showing any valid resolution.

The fix for this (in my situation outlined above) does not require another reinstall:
Simply: Open 'Games & apps'
Highlight the game; press the "show menu" button on your controller and then select 'Manage game and add-ons'.

This will then show the "Game"; "Available Updates" and "Saved Data" (with an option to "uninstall" on the left).

Highlight the game and press the "show menu" button again.

This will take you to the 'Internal Storage' screen and list the game and all add ons.
The DLC in question is listed there - but not selected to be installed.
Select - install - fixed.
