Black & White 2 DRM issue

Imagine my endless joy finding a copy of one of my favorite games that I never got around to play much back in the day, cheap as dirt, on an auction listing.

Imagine my annoyance when I open the case to confirm there is no CD-key. I knew it would be an uphill struggle to get this game running ( IE incompatible hardware and software, the fact that I literally have not had a DVD-drive in any of my machines for 12+ years)

But I thought I would at least be able to get past the installer.

Can EA give me a CD-key if I provide some kind of proof of purchase? Or even sell me a key?
