Can’t transfer Bejeweled Stars Level to new iPad

I am on level 3267 in Bejeweled Stars, have been playing daily for more than 10 years. In the past when I got a new iPad, the game progress would transfer fine. I have tried linking/unlinking to both Facebook and Apple, and transfer from both iCloud and direct from old iPad, but the new iPad only shows my progress from 5 years or so ago (level 2286) , when I got my LAST iPad. What is the procedure to get my progress transferred properly? I have my in game ID but there is nowhere to enter it in the game itself and there is no support!
