can't connect to spore

Question

Just bought spore on Amazon.com. &nbsp;Downloaded the game, installed it and entered the code. &nbsp;It says that It can't connect to spore servers. &nbsp;I logged in on the spore website and it does't register that I have the game. &nbsp;Please link the account to spore so that I can play online. &nbsp;
