You're not receiving the option to unlink the account yourself because there's more than one Xbox account linked to your EA account. To get this account unlinked, please contact EA Help Support.
This has done nothing. I talked to you guys twice with this exact issue and all excuses as to can’t. Very unhelpful
This is becoming borderline polarizing for me. I have zero access to my EA account and hence no access to any of my EA games, i can't even (presumably?) reset progress and play with other accounts because the old inaccessible account is still seemingly permanently linked with my xbox account. There is a literally no channel for me to be able to fix this independently and I would need to talk to a direct representative of the company, but this seems to have been a completely phased out process of ACTUAL customer support ... I'm about at the point where I think this is literally like unsolvable unless I miraculously get in contact with like a regional manager at EA or smth.
