Friends didnt get invited to skate playtest

When signing up for this skate playtest you are able to invite 3 friends, I so far have been the only person to receive the game in my EA app and an email saying I was able to play. My 3 friends that I invited have not received anything and 1 of them played with me on the earlier playtest months back. Is this normal that friends may not get invited?
