I wouldn't hold out much hope. Unfortunately Spore is an old game and EA is a * company who only cares about money. If they can take your cash without having to actually provide anything they will gladly leave it at that. I'd perform a refund if you can or a chargeback on your card.
Good luck getting this heartless company to care about you.
