Idea: bringing back Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos?

Hey EA team and fellow players,

Just wanted to drop an idea here, no expectations attached. Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos (Westwood Studios, 1993) was one of the great early dungeon crawlers, and it's been over 30 years since it came out. Games like Command & Conquer got the remaster treatment, and I think Lands of Lore deserves a shot too.

There's still a small but genuinely passionate community around this game — people documenting its file formats, building fan tools, even attempting their own engine recreations just to keep it playable. That kind of grassroots effort after three decades says something about how much people love this world.

Would be amazing to see Lands of Lore get some love again someday, whether that's a remaster, a re-release on modern platforms, or something the community could help build. Just wanted to put the idea out there.

    That is a blast from the past 985f43b30edebcd5​

    Had the re-release on disc that had Patrick Stewart doing voice over.

    Happy to share the feedback with the team around this but being honest, I can't see if being something that will happen.

    Best case scenario for a game like this would be for it to become part of GOG's older games program.
