Hello everyone I am playing on an Xbox Series X and the video game was purchased digitally called Jade Empire but it becomes unplayable at a cutscene in a swamp level when meeting a Monk. The screen goes black , audio is present; but it becomes unplayable then on.
any reports of this ever being patched ?

Hello Darko! thanks for checking in...sadly; I was unable to get passed that technical error on the XBOX SERIES X when playing my digital downloaded owned copy of JADE EMPIRE...it just kept occurring at the same point in the swamp cutscene; just a black screen with the audio present but unable to do any input or even "skip" the cutscene as it happens..I just ended up stuck with it being unplayable past that point..I read online people saying to turn off things on the XBOX settings like HDR and VRR but when doing so none of those things mattered as they didn't resolve anything
So Darko; unfortunately I did not manage to get anything sorted and it is still an ongoing issue I would like to report on September 15, 2026
Community ManagerIn the past, having multiple save files and testing them was a way to get around this kaminandre
I know some people have got past it by exiting and loading in again so worth trying that.
