Medal of Honor Warfighter asking for Activation

Trying to launch Medal of Honor Warfighter (have owned it for years but it's been a while since I played and have replaced my harddrive since) and it brings me to a screen telling me to sign in with my origin account and activate my game. 

I'm launching it through the EA app, it's already installed and listed under my library. I tried going into redeem code and entering the product key but it tells me it's already redeemed, which makes sense because it's installed on the computer.

I'm not sure how it can be both active and in need of activation at the same time.

    Try repairing the game file through EA app or move the license folder of the game in the desktop and then try to launch the game

    tried the repair, same issue. Not sure what you mean by the second part. I'm looking in the game folder and I don't see any license or key folders anywhere. are you saying to move that to the desktop or change the game reference to a different folder on the desktop?
