Mirrors Edge Catalyst - "You don't have access" error

Bought the game during the recent Steam sale. When I launch it the game gives me "You don't have access" error, and occasionally "Game license is invalid" error pops up too.

I've already tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling EA App, clearing EA App cache, launching the game directly from its executable, moving the game to different installation folders but with no luck. I've also refunded the game and bought it again thinking it might help, but the error still shows up.

    Hey RaccoonMercy​, 

    I see you've already done quite a bit of troubleshooting for this, but can you try signing out of the EA App, clearing its cache, and then signing in again? It might be worth using the Steam login method to see if that makes a difference.
