Crysis - Games for Windows PC DVD Redeem Code?

I located my Crysis "Games for Windows PC DVD" and located the code inside. Then I downloaded, installed, and logged into the EA App. Next I attempted to redeem my code, but it failed. I will include that information below.

Is there any possibility I will be able to register and play this game on my Windows 11 PC?

Note: I tried going through the EA Help and Support site, but the response I received there was "This issue isn't supported by advisors".

    If that is the case K1ll3R522​ all I can recommend is to speak with our live support team to see if there is anything they can do.

    With older games like this you can run into issues and we on the forums just are not equipped to assist as we can't help with account issues of any kind.

    Hi Darko,

    No, I haven't redeemed the code before. I only have 1 EA account and the game isn't listed in my library there either.

    And if so did you play from disc or redeem it?

    Hi Darko,

    I did play the game a long time ago... When I originally played I would have just installed the game on my system and played it locally.

    Edit: To be clear, I would have played the game from Disk. I don't recall there being an option to redeem any codes back then and didn't see any information about that in the documentation that came with the game either.

    Apparently there is nothing that can be done because I've finally discovered that Crysis disk owners have been abandoned (along with many others). Kind of makes me sad I supported EA by purchasing actual disk based games before most everything went digital. I mean, I even bought Medal of Honor for myself as well as multiple copies of Battlefield Vietnam for my friends back in the day so we could play together.

    At any rate, thanks for the help. That link you provided helped me find this information that I was unable to locate on my own last time.

    For anyone else stopping by, here's the answer:

    Some of our older games can’t be redeemed on the EA app and can only be played if you still have the game disc. Those games include, but aren’t limited to:

    • The Sims (1)
    • The Sims 2
    • Battlefield 1942
    • Battlefield Vietnam
    • Command & Conquer
    • Medal of Honor
    • Crysis.

    Many of those have been redeemable in the past K1ll3R522​ 

    I have redeemed a number of my disc purchases to Origin and then EA app.

    Did you speak with our live support team?

    No, I didn't speak with anyone. I tried the Chat function and it was awful. I entered the queue and was told I'd have 8 minutes to wait. About 15 minutes later I was disconnected and offered a survey about my experience. Then I tried updating the ticket and I got the same answer stating the following:

    This issue isn't supported by advisors

    If you try opening a case with the team using the link I shared, they will be able to advise you as best they can K1ll3R522​

    I tried that link, but it only takes me to https://help.ea.com/en/

    There are lots of options on that page. I tried seeking support from the Help option, but I ended up getting directed to Chat. Chat seems to be broken. I went back to Chat after my post above and ended up waiting another 45+ minutes before it disconnected me again. I engaged chat for a third time after that and was told I would have to wait approximately 7 minutes. I finally ended the chat after another 30 minutes had passed. (Case #256762971).

    Which option on the above page am I supposed to interact with? Everything else I've tried seems to be gated behind some sort of AI that isn't helpful. I need an actual phone number at this point...
