My usual username is taken by *drums* my past-self
Hello everybody. I'm just wondering if someone may have a solution for me.
You see. I tried to change this account ID to my usual username (That I use EVERYWHERE) but it says it's already taken. And, I know 100% that that account is also mine.
The thing is EA help game advisors can't help me (I tried) because I prolly (definitely) lied when I filled my user info (I use to do that). So yeah. Now the Gamertag that I'm known for by everyone is used by an account that is not even in use or has any games in it.
I know the advisors can't breach protocols and can't tell me which email I linked to it (I have had multiple emails across the years....) I tried the one I remember but no luck!
So yeah. That's my story. Do you have an idea of what I can do? Otherwise, just type F for my precious username...

We would be unable to assist with account issues on Answers HQ. You would need to speak with an advisor for assistance with looking into your accounts.
If you are having an issue with verification, I would recommend trying to find any saved documents you might have that would contain account information or point to the email you may have used.
Without being able to sign into the account yourself, or through our advisor support there is not a workaround to move your persona name to a different account.
