No spore CD key

Hello, 

I recently bought and attempted to download Spore from Steam and discovered that the version of Spore sold on steam is only for PC. I investigated further and found that I can download Spore from Origin using the CD key. I read that I could access the CD key by right clicking on Spore in my Steam library and select "View CD Key" and redeem this key code, but the option doesn't show up on my Steam application. I did pay 20 dollars for this game and I'm a little agitated, does anyone have anything that could help?

    I had the same issue as well when I right clicked the option, it wasn't part of the menu that popped up.  However, when you click on the spore game and it brings up the information page on the right side, look to the very right under the links column, you should see an option to click for "CD Key" between the links to the Store Page and the Community Guides.  Click on that, and a pop up will appear with the CD key for you to copy.
