why am i being asked to put a code in to play my game when i have an unstable connection so it won't let me put a code in when i eventually get it??

Community ManagerThese codes help you keep your account secure. If you cannot receive them in time, you can set up different two-factor authentication methods, such as an authenticator app, or select to receive the codes via SMS. You can find further instructions here: How to enable two-factor authentication on your EA Account.
I did try for the sms but even that wouldn't work. I have been able to sign in again but I still do not think that I should be asked for all these authentication things when playing on my own pc

You might be asked once, but then you can choose to trust the device, and it shouldn't ask you again for a while.
