Re: Missing Textures/Graphical Glitches on Spore

@Itz_Kitty_Gurl okay let's see if we can find the culprit for that issue. Missing or glitched textures are often an issue with your GPU, your videocard so to speak. Could you pease provide us some details about your PC hardware? It would help us a lot to investigate the issue. The easiest way would be to provide us your DXDIAG:

  1. Hold down the Windows key and press R on your keyboard.
  2. In the Run box that appears type "dxdiag"without the quotes and press OK.
  3. If you get a box asking to check if your drivers are digitally signed choose Yes.
  4. In the new window that appears, give it a few seconds to complete it's processing then click Save All Information in the bottom right.
  5. Save the text file somewhere easily accessible, I'd recommend your desktop!
  6. Double click the text file to open it, press CTRL - A to select all of the text then CTRL + C to copy.
  7. Go to http://pastebin.com, and use CTRL + V to paste the data into the webpage and click submit
  8. Copy the link and paste it here

A few things for your checklist:

- Make sure that you are running the latest release (not the Beta) driver built for your videocard. A clean uninstall of your current drivers might also help: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-perform-a-clean-installation-of-your-graphics-driver/

- If you playing the game on a laptop, make sure that the game is running with your dedicated GPU rather than your onboard chip. We can help you out there as soon as we have your DXDIAG. It can help to just right-click on the Spore.exe -> Run with high speed graphic processor

- Re-install Direct X as well as Microsoft .NET framework on your system

Cheers
