Make sure you are online. The Origin Service works fine

Go under Origin menu and check whether you enabled offline mode.
Set the hook under > Install & Saves > Keep legacy game installers

After that, it should work

    Both Origin and Spore were online on Friday. When did you experience the connection issues?
