Should EA sell the rights to Operation Flashpoint?

I don't wanna break any NDAs, but I'm afraid Operation Flashpoint as a series is collecting dust. I leave y'all with two scenarios: Either EA publishes a new Operation Flashpoint game with a campaign that picks up after Red River ended and returning multiplayer from that game and Dragon Rising or EA sells the rights and licensing to Tencent, who are holding the rights to rival shooter franchise Delta Force.

If the former is true, I expect the story to be similar to Red River's story structure (with or without new enemies to fight), with you dropping into combat in the beginning of a mission via chopper and being extracted at the end of a mission unless said chopper gets shot down at any point in the story. I think the cinematic approach that was used in Battlefield 3 would be much better-suited to an Operation Flashpoint game, as it makes the action much more personal than other mil-sims like Arma, which has no real story to speak of. Not to say it doesn't work in Battlefield 3, but that game was made with multiplayer as a top priority (I still beat it on Hard), and a lot of Battlefield fans just want Bad Company 3. And believe me, they're getting impatient.

Although I think Battlefield cosmetics wouldn't be bad for multiplayer customization, PVP and PVE alike.
