SimCity "not support the currently selected language" error

I have seen a few posts on this, but no solution.

I have just bought SimCity (2013) through the EA App (Windows) and installed it.  When I try to start it I get an error saying "The product code you have redeemed for SimCity does not support the currently selected language.  Please contact customer support for details."

EA App is set to English.

    Now seems to be sorted - I turned off anti-virus and rebooted, then turned it back on and rebooted again which seemed to allow it to start

    Did you ever get this sorted out? I have the problem now, and I just re-downloaded the game on EA today :(
