Spore Bot Parts

I'm having trouble using Bot Parts Pack DLC online, it was an promotional one that can be earned from can of Dr. Pepper during 2010. However since then the Spore Bot Parts files are officially made public and I downloaded them. But I can't use them online unless I have a badge for it (under owned games) on my spore profile.

I contacted the support (live chat) for this and they said there is a team working on this issue and I should post in here.
