spore login issues

I have owned SPORE for over 10 years and since bought it on steam, I have never been able to make or login to a spore account. it tells me trouble logging into spore servers, when I just went to the cd keys it will not show me the key. My guess is the pc bought it on I no longer have, also fact how long ago it was bought. I am now playing my spore on a laptop just bought. Anyway to fix this so can actually log into an spore account for once ?

    As I said the CD key doesn't show anything and how am I supposed to show roof of purchase when that key area is blank and I bought it over 10 years ago ? Am I supposed to hope that i still have a old email from that long ago that is confirmation of purchase  ?
