Spore on a Mac

I was considering purchasing a Mac, but I wanted to know. I purchased Spore on a PC back in 2017, and wondered if it would let me download it, or would I have to purchase a version specifically for Mac. I have it on Steam, but I also have it on Origin.

    Unfortunately I am not familiar with Steam, so I do not know which digital version you bought.

    Origin Store sells Spore in both Mac or PC versions. If you have a real Mac, it recognizes this automatically
