Spore on Mac gets to Splash Screen then stops
I have a Mac Mini (Late 2012) El Capitan 10.11 and just bought Spore, but it doesn't get past the splash screen What do I do?

Try this one
Change the backpuffer:

Next tip:
Navigate to the SPORE application in Finder
With Right-click on the Spore application, select "Show Package Contents"
Go on in the new finder window into "MacOS directory" > move the file "cider_noui" onto your desktop
Restart the game .
If it still doesn't start, follow the following steps

1. Uninstall Spore
2. Reinstall Spore
3. Don't update the game when it asks you
4. Update until the most recent patch Version 5.1, look at here
