Spore Registration Code

Hello,

I've had the Spore game for a few years and I've played it on my old desktop offline. 

I've recently tried to install it again on my new laptop but it says the code has already been used.

Does this mean i have to buy it again? Because I was really looking forward to playing a game I've already spent money on and wasn't expecting to have to pay for it again.

And no, I don't have it registered or anything and wasn't able to go online with it because my desktop wasn't connected to any internet.
