Spore: 'Registration Key Cannot Be Validated'

I have purchased Spore, Spore: Galactic Adventures, and the Creepy and Cute Conten Pack on Amazon direct download. I paid good money for these games and sat through several hours of downloading time, plus installation. Also, whilel I did not purchase spore through origin, I have an origin/ea account (I use origin for sims 3 plus expansions). Everything has installed correctly, however when I go to log in to my ea account and go online with my content, I get the error, "The Registration Key Cannot Be Validated" and am unable to go online. Seeing as Spore is designed to incorporate the thousands of other players designs into my game in order to add variety, I view not being able to go online as a game-breaking bug, as playing offline will only limit me to Maxis's own few hundred creations.This is very frustrating as I spent good money on this. What exactly is the issue?  I assume it has something to do with purchasing this game through amazon and not origin, but doesn't seem very far. What can I do? Please help I have been seeking help for this issue for awhile to no avail.
