spore registration

I reached out to EA Support for help with registering my Steam version of Spore so I could access the online features, but the whole experience has been a nightmare. Not only did EA completely ignore my request, but they also closed my case without any explanation or resolution. Now, to make matters worse, I’m unable to open a new case to get the issue fixed. It’s incredibly frustrating dealing with EA’s sketchy customer service/business practices. I almost regret giving EA my 2 dollars! Any help would be appreciated!
