Agreed. In addition, some QoL improvements would rock too: (In no particular order.)
- Take note that I play the Steam Version, but I used to play it in its original form long long ago when the game was in its prime. I had already played quite a bit of it when the Creepy & Cute Expansion first released...
- To this day, there's still annoying times when the game can Crash for seemingly no reason at all whatsoever... it's especially bad in the Creature Stage. I play the game "Empyrion: Galactic Survival", & when it has Crashes, it often generates a "client.log" file, & has a Console (Default Hotkey "~") that can sometimes have useful Error Messages that the Devs could benefit from when submitting Bug Reports. Spore could really use similar tools...
- Spore could use Upgraded with a Auto-Save Feature so if bad stuff happens, like the above Crash Proneness in the Creature Stage, progress loss doesn't get hit so freaking hard... >_<
- Nothing in the game (That i've ever found...) ever tells the player that when picking a color for Creations, ya can hold the Left Click on the Color Choice instead of merely press the click to get a sub-window with much more options. I had to find it by complete accident. & all that time before that I honestly seriously was thinking that Spore was being capable of being so inane as to refuse to provide a basic color like BLUE of all things... which also happens to be my fav color. If I knew about this during my long ago play, i'll never remember. I'm still trying like hell to remember the Keyboard SHortcuts for doin fancy schmancy things like remove parts of Arms or Legs to attach other Arms & Legs on for fancier schmancier tricks... I can't remember where I ever learned those Keyboard Shortcuts in the first place long ago... Please, moar Documentation &/or In-Game Pointers to Controls...?
- Curiosity: Now that ya Devs have much more years of XP at your craft, I wonder if ya can find any ways to improve your Interface & Control Intuitiveness of your Editors... for instance, easier centering of Parts onto positions of other parts, more options for being able to control placement of Parts, etc.
