Spore requirements

Spore.com says you need version 10.5.3 to play on Mac but then I bought it and it says I have to download Origin to play. Origin requires 10.7 and I only have 10.6.8. Is there a way I can still play Spore or do I have to ask for a refund?

    This refers to the physical version.

    If you had the game on CD, you could play it on 10.5.3.

    But Snow Leopard with Origin (DL) , it becomes problematic to the system is too old.
