I have spore through xbox gamepass and it has been working fine for the past few days. I bought galactic adventures and had to run it through the .exe, which worked fine the first time. a few minutes in the game crashed and since then I have not been able to open spore through the ea app or files. I can still open it through the xbox app, but I cannot access galactic adventures that way.
I had a similar problem before. What worked for me was repairing the game through the EA App and then reinstalling Galactic Adventures so the launcher could properly detect the DLC. Sometimes launching the expansion directly with the .exe breaks the link between the base game and the EA App. After reinstalling the DLC and launching the game from the EA App instead of the executable, the expansion started working normally again.source: Smart Pos system

AFAIK you still get the game from EA, via Origin or EA Desktop. screen mirroring pubg mobile It’s more akin to microsoft throwing in a free code for EA’s service when you buy Game Pass.
