Spore won't run
Hello,
So I bought Spore through Origin. Everything downloaded fine, no hiccups. I tried to open it and it asked to update. I said yes it goes through like 4-5 updates (it calls it 3.7 TG12 I think) everything finishes and its all good. I try playing it, two icons open. The both bounce (I'm on mac btw) the light under one comes on. It quickly diasapears. Another icon quickly takes its place bounces a couple times lights up then disapears. the other one stops bouncing lights up the rectangle thing pops up with spores name on it. As soon as that closes the icon disapears and nothing happens. I un-installed it and re-installed it. This time I say no to the update and it tells me it has an error connecting to the licencing server and i should reconnect my internet and try again or contact a help person. Theres nothing wrong with my internet. So i open it again and update. This time I got a dialoge box that had setting info. I thought it was finally working so i click the box saying dont reappear. It does the exact same bounce/disapear thing it did before. I tried doing the manual 5.1 update thing they suggest and it told me it cant update on thise version of the application. As you can tell I'm not tech savvy. Im barely tech literate so if I'm doing something obviously wrong I'd like to know. Anybody know?
